The World's Fair Daylight departs Santa Barbara with Southern Pacific Daylight #4449 in charge of the westbound special. March 21, 1937 marked the inaugural run of the westbound Coast Daylight, Train #99. June 19, 1984 marked the final "unofficial" run of Train #99.
